WAVE was awarded 2nd place in the Tony Rose theme competition at the Midland Movie Makers FESTIVAL on Sunday 11th October, 2015 for the film “LONELY… but LOVED based on St. Chad’s Church, Church Wilne. It featured the Friends of St Chad’s and the Rotary Club of Church Wilne.

The WAVE “A” team of Craig Pye, Valerie MIdgelow, Sylvia Tate, Maurice and Pat Adcock won the Gordon Roberts Midsummer Madness Trophy on Sunday 28th June 2015. The title was “Getting Old” and was made in a day before the Midland Movie Makers members enjoyed their ANNUAL DINNER at Trent Lock Golf Club.
The Nuneaton Millennium Competition 2018 was held on March 10th and was won by Chesterfield
